EXTREME TEMPS CAN AFFECT YOUR AEDS!
AEDs should not be left in temperatures below 32°F or above 122°F. Extreme temperatures can adversely affect the functionality of the AED pads as well as the electronic components of the device. If your AED is alarming or indicates not rescue-ready, first take the unit to a controlled temperature environment. An AED exposed to temperature extremes will also need to be reset back to rescue-ready status. Please call our office for assistance or access the YouTube link for instructions to reset the Cardiac Science G5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54H33cb0yIQ
Best practices for AED storage: Store your AED inside overnight.DO NOT KEEP IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR VEHICLE! If you do not have a temperature-controlled environment and you are looking for a cabinet solution, we offer a line of cabinets that can keep your AED warm or cool and ready for rescue.
